“Ethiopia was the only nation to open its door and gave refugees to the people Saudi Arabia. However Saudi has betrayed the principles of societies and nations by subjecting inocent Ethiopians today” said an Ethiopian activist based in the US.
Ethiopians all over the world are Signing a petition to Expel Saudi Arabia from the United Nations, Olympics and FIFA memberships. Several Addis Ababa residents whom Awramba Times spoke to, expressed their anger by the horror,cruelty and barbarism to the Ethiopian migrants in Saudi Arabia.
Some of them even suggested the possibility of boycotting Arab products sold in Ethiopia and expel Saudi companies stationed in their country to give a lesson to Saudi Arabia and other Arab counties to review their law for human right, rape and murder as well as looking after the well being of human kind no matter the person is coming from.
The first group of Ethiopian repatriates from Saudi Arabia arrived at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport yesterday. Some of the returnees told state medias that life as a migrant had been appalling especially for those without legal status.
